The successful candidate will be a direct (W2) employee of WisEngineering. Role Overview
The Construction Project Coordinator is responsible for the integrated management of government facilities renovations, upgrades, and repair projects, as well as the execution of strategic planning initiatives. This role oversees the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that individual tasks align with broader program objectives and mission-critical timelines.
The primary focus of this position is to maintain operational efficiency, rigorous document compliance, and seamless stakeholder communication across all facilities and internal operations.
Core Responsibilities

Document Administration: Lead the systematic development, tracking, maintenance, and auditing of a wide range of project documents to ensure full compliance with governmental standards and established Garrison processes.

Process Management: Assist with the design, implementation, and refinement of standardized workflows to optimize operational efficiency across both facilities projects and strategic internal operations.

Project Lifecycle Oversight: Monitor resource allocation and project tasks to ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with established quality standards.

Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate clear, consistent communication between cross-functional stakeholders to maintain alignment with broader program objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements

Proven experience managing the lifecycle of facilities renovation, upgrade, and repair projects.

Strong background in government compliance, document control, and auditing processes (specifically regarding Garrison processes).

Demonstrated ability to design and implement standardized operational workflows.

Strong communication and resource management skills to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams.

Ability to align daily project tasks with high-level organizational strategic planning timelines.
Preferred Background and Experience Examples

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field or more than 3 years of Construction management experience

Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management), or Prosci Change Management certifications are highly desirable.

Government Sector Experience: Previous experience working within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment, military installation (Garrison), or federal agency, with a solid understanding of federal acquisition and facilities regulations.

Facilities Project Tracking: 3–5 years of experience tracking milestones for commercial or government facility modernizations, HVAC upgrades, structural repairs, or space optimization initiatives.

Systems & Tools: Proficiency with enterprise project management and document control software, such as MS Project, SharePoint, USACE Resident Management System (RMS), and localized installation tracking tools (e.g., Picatinny Environmental Management System/PEMS).
