WisEngineering, LLC is currently seeking qualified candidates for a potential upcoming opportunity supporting Department of Defense programs at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, NJ. Key Requirements:

- This is an on-site position 5 days per week at Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, NJ. Remote work is not permitted.
- Candidates must be local or willing to relocate at their own expense (limited relocation assistance may be available for highly qualified candidates).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required.
Position Overview:
WisEngineering, LLC is seeking a Civil Engineer to provide expert technical analysis, design, and engineering support for the modification and improvement of laboratory and administrative spaces at DEVCOM AC. This role will focus on infrastructure assessments, facility planning, equipment procurement, and system maintenance recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Assessments & Infrastructure Planning:
- Review and provide expert technical analysis of building and laboratory modifications.
- Conduct site surveys and develop installation plans, including:
- Floor plans and rack/equipment layouts
- Bills of material
- Duct and conduit runs
- Signal, coaxial, and power cabling
- HVAC, AC/DC power, and fire suppression systems
- Test cutover plans
Equipment Procurement & Laboratory Support:
- Execute purchases or rental of lab supplies, work surfaces, equipment racks, and test equipment in support of mission functions.
Preventative Maintenance & Corrective Action Support:
- Provide preventative maintenance recommendations for HVAC, plumbing, structural, and electrical systems.
- Identify and recommend corrective actions for infrastructure repairs and improvements.
Technical Documentation & Design:
- Maintain and update as-built drawings for Architectural, Electrical, HVAC, Telecomm, Security, and Fire Protection systems.
- Document renovations and room close-out books, including materials, cut sheets, and submittals.
- Design room layouts per customer requirements to be submitted to contractors as planning documents.
- Create 3D renderings for visual interpretation and drawing packages for internal use.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in facility design, infrastructure planning, and system assessments.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, structural, electrical, and fire protection systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software for creating 3D renderings and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with Army/DoD facility regulations and engineering standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
