Description

WisEngineering, LLC is currently interviewing candidates for an immediate position with our company in support of a recent contract award for the Department of Defense at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, NJ. Candidates must be within commuting distance to the Arsenal or willing to relocate. Successful candidate will be a FTE employee of WisEngineering. Candidates must be US Citizen and will be processed for Secret Clearance.  

Location: On-site - Some Remote Options but must be within reasonable commuting distance to Dover, NJ

Education and Experience:
BS Computer Science 
Mid 3+ Years (Level II) 
Mid/Sr 5+ Years (Level III)

Desired: 
CompTia certification or training, AWS certification or training preferred
Previous experience in DoD environment preferred

Description: 
Candidate will support the creation and maintenance of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud based DevSecOps processes, tools, and AWS Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) resources. The objective also includes supporting the Government maintaining and modernizing existing on premise DevSecOps processes, tools, and other Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. This position will utilize software programming languages such as Java, C/C++, and others as needed.

Responsibilities: 
  • Designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications.
  • Support and/or install software applications/operating systems 
  • Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
  • Design, develop, automate testing and reporting, deploy and maintain software, software libraries and their associated documentation meeting Software Engineering Data Package (SEDP) requirements that support program capabilities 
  • Ensure all associated build documentation including but not limited to release notes, change logs and bug fixes is placed under configuration control 
  • Support integration, acceptance, and other test activities required to demonstrate that developed capabilities meet requirements and their respective use cases.
  • Use the Code Resources and Transformation Ecosystem (CReATE) environment and software collaboration tools to increase efficiency, collaboration, effectiveness, and cost reduction.
  • Project tracking with Atlassian JIRA and GitLab, documentation management in Atlassian Confluence and Microsoft Teams / Army 365 tools, source control with GitLab, CI and automated builds with GitLab CI, code artifacts and repository management with Sonatype Nexus.
  • Use the OSE Ticketing system to log, manage, and communicate status of all mission IT technical support requests and work activities to users entering tickets.
