Maintenance and Transportation Coordinator

Position Overview:
WisEngineering, LLC is seeking a Maintenance and Transportation Coordinator to provide maintenance and transportation support services for DEVCOM-AC at Picatinny Arsenal. The selected candidate will assist with vehicle and equipment maintenance, procurement of repair parts, dispatching, and compliance with Army maintenance regulations. This is an on-site position with no remote work option. Incumbent personnel are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Logistics Support:
- Provide support for the Command Maintenance Discipline Program (CMDP) in accordance with AR 750-1 and AR 58-1.
- Process maintenance work orders, repair parts procurement, and vehicle dispatching.
- Execute GCSS-Army daily business transactions, including initiating, updating, and closing maintenance work orders.
- Ensure compliance with administrative actions for licensing and equipment training.
Logistics Information Systems & Compliance:
- Operate logistics systems to manage maintenance and transportation operations, including:
- GCSS-Army
- Army Enterprise System Integration Program (AESIP)
- FMSweb
- GSA Web Applications
- Conduct CMDP checks and assist in implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Provide Materiel Management Support, including work order processing, reporting, and corrective action tracking.
Equipment & Vehicle Management:
- Validate equipment maintenance requirements and research repair part procurement.
- Coordinate with equipment owners for scheduled maintenance, technical inspections, turn-ins, and new equipment receipt.
- Perform dispatching and licensing administrative actions to ensure safe and operable equipment.
- Accurately review DA Form 5988 (DA Form 2404) and open work orders based on required service or repair.
- Notify customers of repairs exceeding maintenance expenditure limits (MEL).
- Oversee procurement and tracking of repair parts, including National Stock Numbers (NSN) and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) parts.
- Ensure proper documentation and closure of work orders within GCSS-A while recording accurate cost and labor hour data.
Supply & Waste Management:
- Maintain shop supplies and bulk lubricants required for operations.
- Manage and coordinate the proper disposal of waste materials, including oil, batteries, and tires.
- Ensure contractual obligations for maintenance services are met, including staffing requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in Army maintenance operations, vehicle dispatching, and logistics management.
- Proficiency in Army logistics and maintenance systems (GCSS-A, AESIP, FMSweb, GSA Web Applications).
- Strong knowledge of Army regulations (AR 750-1, AR 58-1) regarding maintenance and transportation.
- Ability to analyze maintenance requirements and track repair part procurement.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for working with equipment owners and leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
